Latin-style competition make up by the beautiful Vivian Lessa - photos by Moses Goddard

How to apply Latin-style competition make up

  • Putting on the foundation, adding more in the areas to shape with tones and appear deeper.
  • Apply light brown color for shadow on both sides of your nose. Start from the inside upper eyelid and go down to the side of your nose, gradually lighten out. This will make the nose look more three-dimensional.
  • Putting the eye shadow on, make sure the color matches the color of your costume. If the space between your eyes is wider, make sure to emphasize the inside area of your upper eyelids. If the space between your eyes is narrow, emphasize the outside area of your upper eyelid.
  • Add white color in the area between the top of the eye lid fold and the eyebrow. This area is from the middle part of upper eyelid (close to the eyebrow) and goes toward end of the eyebrow. This will make eyes look more three-dimensional.
  • Putting on the eyeliner, make sure it is longer than your own eyes, and arcs up at the end of your eyes. Do not forget the bottom lid with your eyeliner. Next draw and fill your eyebrows.
  • Put on your fake eyelashes.
  • Drawing a clean line around your lips, you can always choose the best shape you want. Then put your lipstick on, remember to match the color of your eye shadow.
  • Brush blush color to the area around both sides of your cheeks, make sure it goes toward the shape of your cheekbone. If your face is longer, it goes a little lower. If your face is shorter, it goes a little higher. Make sure the color matches both your eye shadow and lipstick.
  • You can fix your hairstyle before the make up or after the make up.
